Daisen Park
The Japanese Garden is situated within the 38.5-hectare Daisen Park, a symbol of the city surrounded by lush greenery and history. The park stretches between Japan's largest tomb, the Tomb of Emperor Nintoku, and the Tomb of Emperor Richu, both part of the Mozu Tombs, which are designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Inside the park, visitors can find the Daisen Park Tourist Information Center, the Mozu Mounded Tombs Visitor Center, the Sakai City Museum and the Central City Library. Tea houses, such as Shin-an and Obai-an, can be visited alongside the tombs scattered throughout the park.
